Juurini est le nom inuit de l’auteur-compositeur-interprète Joey Partridje. Originairement de Kuujjuaq, Juurini chante dans sa langue natale les souvenirs du nord, les odeurs et les sons qui le réveillaient le matin dans un folk ambiant en utilisant sa guitare et des instruments traditionnels.

Il est un homme de famille. Son plus grand rêve est de voir son peuple inuit réussir et franchir les différents obstacles qu’ils font face devant la modernité. Joey vit pour être ce changement en orientant ses paires à l’aide de ses expériences passées.

Juurini is the inuit name of singer songwriter Joey Partridje. Originally from Kuujjuaq, Juurini sings in his native tongue memories from the north, smells and sounds who would wake him up in the morning with an ambiant folk, using his guitar and traditional instruments.

Joey is a family man, kind and helpful. His greatest wish is to see his Inuit people thrive and succeed to over come the many obstacles they face with the changing modern world around them. He lives his life being the change he wants to see and offering guidance and advice in areas he has been able to overcome.
